這5場9支舞蹈將由該舞團的藝術總監Robert Battle率現代舞者Jamar Roberts，Kyle Abraham，著名的資深舞者Twyla Tharp，以及Paul Taylor演出。
演出日程已排定為5月4、5、6日的晚上8點，以及5月6日下午2點，5月7日 (週日)下午3點，在波士頓天滿街270號的王氏劇院Boch中心演出。
五月4日晚8點的開幕演出將由Jamar Robert領銜演出「感傷心情 (In a Sentimental Mood)」，Paul
Taylor演出1964年的雙人舞，著名編舞家Kyle
Abraham的新作「你在你的感情中嗎? (Are you in your feelings?) 」，以及Alvin Ailey舞團從1960年代起就備受歡迎的「啟示錄」。這幾段舞蹈將於5月6日晚8點，再演出一場。

5月6日下午2點演出「夜間生物」，「四個人 (For Four)」，以及「展開 (Unfold)」，「啟示錄」。
在麻州羅倫斯長大，畢業於波士頓藝術學校，從2011年起加入該團的舞者Belén Indhira Pereyra，這次也將參與演出。

BOSTON – March 22, 2023 (rev. Apr 13)
– Celebrity Series of Boston presents the return of Alvin Ailey American
Dance Theater to the city from May 4-7, 2023. Led by Artistic
Director Robert Battle, Ailey dancers will again move and thrill audiences with
Boston premieres, returning favorites, and a new production of Survivors
– the late-period Ailey work co-choreographed with Mary Barnett as a tribute to
Nelson and Winnie Mandela. The signature Ailey masterpiece Revelations
closes each program.
NEW: A free community event, May 3 @ 7 pm at the Kroc Center in Dorchester, Mass. features Ailey company dancer Yannick Lebrun leading participants through excerpts from Alvin Ailey's Revelations and Night Creature. Stress-releasing stretches, inspiring movements from iconic Ailey works and motivation to express oneself anchors a fun, free, all-ages workshop. Details and RSVP here.

BOSTON REPERTOIRE HIGHLIGHTS/PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
Choreographers showcased during the company’s five-performance run include founder Alvin Ailey, Artistic Director Robert Battle, contemporary dancemakers Jamar Roberts and Kyle Abraham, and acclaimed veterans Twyla Tharp and Paul Taylor. Four works on the program are Boston premieres.
Opening Night Program – Thu. May 4 @ 8 pm (repeats Sat. May 6 @ 8 pm)
· Jamar Roberts’ In a Sentimental Mood (2022; photo by Paul Kolnik), the fifth piece he has created for the Ailey company, sets an intimate scene from the domestic life of a couple that becomes an exploration of love and desire. Using an original composition from Duke Ellington and four jazz standards given avant-garde twists by composer Rafiq Bhatia, Roberts bridges past and present to make music classics fresh, relevant and timely.
· Paul Taylor’s 1964 DUET (a 2022 Ailey Company Premiere) is set to the music of Franz Josef Haydn, and serves as a testament to the simplicity and clarity of Taylor’s craft. Brief and beautifully shaped, it portrays a love perhaps not new, but rather tried and true.
