(Beach)和乞臣街 (Hudson)一帶發生槍擊事件，警方證實2名年約30出頭男子送醫，有生命危險。
波士頓警察總監 Gregory Long稱，2名受傷者傷勢嚴重，有生命危險。警察一度封街調查。警方透過監視錄影，在大西洋道和尼倫街發現3名肇事嫌犯開車逃離現場，一路開到查理士城，並在Schrafft中心的圓環處撞毀側翻，車內物品散落四處。警察也從車裏找到一把槍。
警方拘留了車內的3人，並把他們送往該地區醫院。在車內的人估計能生還。
到底是因為什麼發生這槍擊事件，目前還不得而知。
波士頓第25號頻道電視台後續報導稱，在查理士城被警方從側翻在地車輛中拉出來並逮捕的3人，有2人已確認圍住在羅爾市的23歲男子，Ven

Following a Call for Shots Fired, Officers Assigned to District A-1 Locate Two People Shot, and Arrest Two Males Following Vehicle Pursuit
April 17, 2022At about 2:35 AM, on Sunday, April 17, 2022, Officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown Boston/Chinatown) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of Beach and Hudson Streets. As a result of the incident, police arrested Ven Bunton, 23, of Lowell, Massachusetts and Alexio Carmello-Marquez, 24, of Tampa, FL.
Officers received a call for shots fired in the area of Beach Street and Hudson Street. Upon arrival, officers located two adult males suffering from life-threatening injuries, and both males were transported to a local hospitals with life-threatening injuries.
Simultaneously, Officers were provided with a possible description of a suspect vehicle. Officers canvassing the area, located a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Kneeland Street.
Officers maintained surveillance of the vehicle, and requested additional units to the area to conduct a traffic stop. As responding officers approached the intersection, the suspect vehicle accelerated, fleeing the area and refusing to stop for officers. Officers observed the vehicle fail to stop at multiple red lights and continue fleeing from officers. Officer’s maintained visual contact with the suspect vehicle as it fled, continuously updating their location for responding officers from both Boston Police and Massachusetts State Police.
The vehicle fled over the North Washington Street Bridge into Charlestown, where the vehicle lost control at the Sullivan Square rotary and came to a stop in the grassy area inside the traffic circle where it flipped on its side.
Officers gave several commands to the occupants of the vehicle, two of whom are identified as Bunton and Carmello-Marquez, to exit the vehicle. Officers safely removed three individuals from the vehicle and placed them into custody. Due to injuries sustained in the crash, all three males were transported to a local hospital. Additionally, officers located a firearm and ammunition inside the vehicle.
Bunton is to be charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, two counts of Assault and Battery with Intent to Murder, two counts of Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Failure to Stop for Police, Reckless Operation of a Motor-Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a License.
Carmello-Marquez is to be charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, and Fugitive from Justice.
Bunton and Carmello Marquez are expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
The third occupant of the vehicle was not charged.
