麻州政府3/23起每早9點 網上教人申請失業福利

(Boston Orange編譯) 鑒於失業人數正漸大增，麻州政府將在未來這星期，舉辦虛擬城鎮會議，說明如何申請失業救濟。

根據該機構網站，失業援助部官員將在直播的會議中，指導麻州居民遞交申請的每一個步驟，並回答致電者的問題。

第一次會議將在星期一(23日)上午9點舉行。西班牙語會議將在星期二(24日)上午9點舉行。接著除了週四以外，週三(25日)，週五(27日)，這幾天的早上9點都會舉行。

上週，打電話到州政府查問關於申請失業救濟的人太多了，以至於電話中心不堪負荷。署長羅莎琳·阿科斯塔（Rosalin Acosta）說，遞交申請數量之多，前所未見。

阿科斯塔（Acosta）表示，該部門將重新部署數以百計的員工，以協助呼叫中心很快運作。成千上萬的工人已上網申請了福利。查詢更多信息，可上州政府網站https://www.mass.gov/orgs/department-of-unemployment-assistance。

This town hall is offered both over the phone and online. 

For those of you joining on the phone only, you can press *3 to ask us a question and a live person will put your question in the queue. To receive the call invitation you must sign up for a specific town hall time and date below. Online viewers will see a PowerPoint presentation with visuals to accompany the discussion. Please enroll by 5:30 the night before in order to receive a call.
