The Agenda and Exhibitions on Friday, June 22, 2018 :

4:45 pm SHARP :  Group meets at MFA Huntington Avenue Entrance, and form two groups of 20 each.
MFA special event office staff  will greet group and distribute complimentary admission tickets and parking validation. Nancy Berliner and Katie Hanson will also meet the group at the Huntington Avenue Entrance. A member of Development staff will join each group to keep time and move the groups between tours

 5 – 5:50 pm
·        Group 1: Katie Hanson, curator of the Monet Gallery, will join the group for behind-the-scenes stories into the making of the installation and into the artist’s creative process. Gain a sneak peek into her thoughts on the upcoming exhibition French Pastels: Treasures from the Vault, opening June 30.

·      Group 2: Nancy Berliner 白铃安, Wu Tung Senior Curator of Chinese Art, will meet the group in the Song Gallery and look at the Song scrolls that have been recently rotated into the gallery.  You will then proceed to the ceramic gallery where there is an early Ming meiping vase newly on display. Lastly, you will visit the Seeking Stillness exhibition where there are Chinese rocks and Liu Dan’s series of seven paintings of one rock.
