昆士市風雪停車禁令今晚6點起生效

             (Boston Orange)麻州昆士市發出通知,緊急風雪停車令今(15)6點起生效。

                                    昆士市居民只能在非緊急社區的偶數邊街道停洎車輛,但如果有空位,就應該停在自家車道上。

              市內所有的指定緊急幹道將禁止停車。

                居住在小街,路上有著永遠只能在街道一邊停車告示的居民們,就只能在允許停車的那邊停車。

                 停在違反緊急停車規定地點,或阻礙鏟雪車運作,形成公共安全危險的車輛,將會被拖吊走。不論停車規定為何,有關單位決定會阻礙鏟雪車,或者急救車的車輛,如果居民不開走,就會被拖吊。

             在市中心的前興國(Hancock)地區停車場將在風雪期間開放。

             居民可以在那兒停車,每日費用最高12元。

             排定在1217日週四的收垃圾日,將改成1218日週五。

             原定週五的收垃圾日改成週六。

             需要協助的居民,可以使用市府的風雪日要求申請表,發電郵到 snowhotline@quincyma.gov或者打電話給公共工程局(DPW)的風雪營運熱線617-376-1927

             天氣預報稱風大,可能會吹倒樹木或電線。家中停電的民眾,可打電話給國家電網(National Grid)1-800-465-1212,或上網訪問該公司停電中心頁https://www.nationalgridus.com/MA-Home/Storms-Outages

Snow Emergency Parking Rules

QUINCY- December 15, 2020 Snow emergency parking rules will be in place beginning at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
Residents may park on the EVEN numbered side of non-emergency neighborhood streets, but should
always park in driveways if available.
Parking is prohibited on all designated emergency arteries.
Residents on side streets posted permanently as one-side parking should park on the side always
allowed.
Cars parked in violation of emergency rules or impede snow plowing operations pose a public safety
risk, and WILL BE TOWED. Regardless of parking rules, vehicles determined to be in obstruction of
snow removal or emergency vehicles are subject to towing if not moved.
The parking garage in the former Hancock Lot in downtown will be open throughout the snowstorm.
Residents wishing to park in the garage can do so for a maximum daily fee of $12.
Trash collection scheduled for Thursday, December 17, will be moved to Friday, December 18.
Friday’s regular collection will be moved to Saturday.
