 Chamber Announces 10 New Members Elected to the Board of Directors

 Boston, MA - The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of 10 new members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. On Monday, March 4th, the Chamber Board of Directors voted unanimously to elect the following members to the Board:

  • Marcela Aldez-Matos, CEO, Arka HR Solutions 
  • Steve Baddour, Executive Vice President and Director of Operations, ML Strategies
  • James Bumpus, Head of Intermediary Markets, Columbia Threadneedle
  • Julie Chen, Chancellor, UMass Lowell
  • Ben Lavallee, Director, Google Cloud
  • Javier Reyes, Chancellor, UMass Amherst
  • Glen Shor, Executive Vice President & Treasurer, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
  • Marcelo Suarez-Orozco, Chancellor, UMass Boston
  • Scott Weintraub, Senior Vice President, United States Business, Alexion
  • Lisa Wieland, New England President, National Grid

With this new slate of incoming Board members, the Board maintains gender parity and is comprised of 30% people of color.
