Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus PAC Endorses Michelle Wu For Mayor

Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus PAC Endorses Michelle Wu For Mayor

Boston, MA— The Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus Political Action Committee (MWPC PAC) today announced their endorsement of Michelle Wu for Mayor of Boston. During her time as a City Councilor At-Large, Wu consistently demonstrated her commitment to the mission and values of MWPC PAC, including defending reproductive justice and abortion access.

“The Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus Political Action Committee (MWPC PAC) is proud to endorse Michelle Wu for Mayor of Boston. Michelle is a bold visionary with a proven track record of building strong policies for a more equitable Boston. We are proud of her leadership when she served on MWPC's Young Professionals Executive Board, and are confident she will continue to act with urgency and in collaboration with Boston’s communities to build solutions to the city’s most pressing problems. As a woman of color and a daughter of immigrants, her election will empower Boston’s systemically underrepresented voices that are the backbone of the city. A vote for Michelle Wu is a vote for Boston’s brighter future,” said Samantha Bone, Chair of the MWPC PAC Board of Directors.

“I am honored to be endorsed by the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus Political Action Committee. I look forward to continuing to partner with them to encourage more women to run for office and center gender equity in our city’s policies,” said Michelle Wu.

The Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus Political Action Committee (MWPC PAC) is a non-partisan organization that recruits, trains and seeks to elect qualified women to public office in order to achieve political parity. Our goal is to offer programs to increase the interest of women of all ages in the political process and help them to be successful in the political arena. To learn more, please visit www.mwpc.org.
