Jane Doe Inc. Names Cenee Enriquez as Policy Director

BOSTON, MA – July 27, 2026 – Jane Doe Inc. (JDI), the Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, announced today that Cenee Enriquez will become JDI’s next Policy Director. Enriquez, who previously served as Policy and Systems Advocacy Manager, will replace current Policy Director Nithya Badrinath, who is departing to attend law school this fall.

“Since she joined the team, Cenee has been invaluable to JDI’s advocacy and policy work,” said Hema Sarang-Sieminski, Executive Director of JDI. “We are so excited that she will step into this new role and continue to advance our Coalition’s core advocacy goals – partnering with Coalition members, partners, and lawmakers to support meaningful policy that uplifts survivors, preserves critical protections, and expands the resources available to survivors across Massachusetts. We are grateful to Nithya Badrinath for all she contributed to JDI and the survivor community during her time as Policy Director. She leaves an inspiring legacy, and no one is better suited than Cenee to carry this work forward and continue advocating for survivors on the legislative level.”

“I am honored to assume the role of Policy Director, and humbled by the opportunity to continue crafting and collaborating on policy that protects and uplifts survivors across Massachusetts,” said Enriquez. “I’m so grateful to Nithya and the entire JDI team for their partnership and support. I’ve learned so much about how to effectively advocate for survivor justice, safety, and healing through intentional policy – an effort that remains as important as ever in light of unprecedented attacks on survivors and survivor communities at the Federal level. I am eager to dig in and continue the essential work of supporting survivors and preventing sexual and domestic violence in communities across the state.”

Enriquez started with JDI as a Policy Intern in 2023 and became the Policy and Systems Advocacy Manager in 2024. In her previous role, Enriquez worked closely with Badrinath, JDI's Policy Advisory Committee, and public policy partners to develop and implement JDI’s public policy agenda.
