紐英崙中華專業人員協會將於12月3日星期三舉辦第14次[文化之旅]參觀波士頓美術館

紐英崙中華專業人員協會將於12月3日星期三舉辦第14次[文化之旅]參觀波士頓美術館 (Museum of Fine Arts Boston)。
這次參觀將請美術館導覽員介紹18-19世紀西班牙最重要的藝術家 果亞作品 “有序和無序” 同時請美術館中國藝術策劃人白铃安女士解說中國館擴建事宜。導覽後大家可以繼續參觀或和大家一起用餐 (費用大家分攤。)
當天行程如下:
6 PM: 準時在美術館 Fenway入口處 (門前有兩個嬰孩頭的雕像) 集合。
6:10-6:50 PM: 由波士頓美術館 中國藝術策劃人白铃安女士 (Nancy Berliner) 為大家解說擴建中國館的計劃及原由。美術館裡一些名貴的中國藝術作品，因現有中國館空間及設備不足，無法展出。
7- 7:40 PM: 美術館導覽員帶大家參觀正在展覽中，由西班牙藝術家果亞Goya作品 “有序和無序”。果亞是18-19世紀西班牙最重要的藝術家，在美東地區 25 年來，是第一次大型展出也只有在波士頓美術館做唯一展示。
7:50 PM: 晚餐。可以在美術館裡的Bravo餐館或到外面餐館用餐。歡迎建議 。
活動公開，歡迎參加，人數限二十五人。中華專業人員協會會員及學生免費。其他人士每人十元。有興趣者請在11月28日前用Email向譚嘉陵報名 jialintan58@gmail.com。報名者請提供Email及手機號碼以便聯絡，並請註明參加人數。

We wish everyone good health, peace, happiness, and success in the year ahead. Amid the joyful celebrations of Christmas, we have welcomed a brand-new year—2026. With the spirit of a new beginning, the Yunhe Club warmly invites you to join us for an inspiring and heartwarming art lecture. Together with our highly respected local artist, Ms. Chris Lan Hui Chou, we will explore how to appreciate abstract painting and begin a journey into the inner world of art through color. The lecture, titled “Talking About Painting: Starting from Color,” will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Log-in will begin at 1:30 PM Eastern Time, followed by the main talk and discussion from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The event will be held via Zoom, with a YouTube live stream. Ms. Chou once described her creative philosophy as follows: “Painting, to me, is a pure necessity. It is the most honest way to explore the process of life and the most direct form of freedom that transcends words and language. I choose symbolic forms and colors to tell stories, and at the heart of these stories is always ‘relationship.’ Through them, I express the flavors of life’s four seasons—moments of vulnerability as well as courage. I believe that sincere and great art possesses the power to heal and to comfort. Especially in our time, we need pure new art to uplift and nourish restless hearts. I hope to be a simple and humble painter, a window and a pair of eyes, inviting you to see another new horizon. Perhaps you will encounter wonder, or perhaps it will simply awaken a gentle smile within you.” In this talk, Ms. Chou will share many of her works and openly discuss her understanding of abstract art and her creative journey, bringing art closer to everyday life and to the heart. Ms. Chris Lan Hui Chou graduated from the National Taiwan University of Arts and later pursued advanced studies in drawing, painting, and sculpture in New York. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Boston University. In 2007, she was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship for Painting, and the City of Houston proclaimed April 26, 2008 as “Chris Lan Hui Chou Day” in recognition of her outstanding artistic achievements.
