"Michelle's work on the Boston City Council is proof of her commitment to issues of fairness, equity, and access to opportunity for all Boston residents. As a working mom herself, her leadership on paid parental leave for Boston employees will ensure that working families do not have to choose between the child they love and the job they need. On issues important to the EMILY’s List community, from paid parental leave, to health care equity and access to economic opportunity, Michelle demonstrates her commitment every day. We look forward to her continuing work to make Boston a more livable and accessible place for all." - Muthoni Wambu Kraal, Senior Director for State and Local Campaigns at EMILY’s List
