2015年12月28日晚，波士顿市中心的海港酒店大厅张灯结彩，中国年味十足。章启月总领事及钟瑞明副总领事、叶冬柏科技参赞、周善青商务参赞、李立言文化参赞一行，冒着严寒，专程从纽约来到波士顿，隆重举行2016年新年招待会。驻纽约总领馆辖区美东十州，这是近年来首次在纽约以外的州举行新年招待会，马萨诸塞州州长贝克尔和波士顿市长沃尔什的代表、多名州市议员等美国主流人士及侨学界代表共300余人怀着喜悦的心情，欢聚一堂，共庆佳节。

章启月发表了热情洋溢的讲话。她首先代表中国驻纽约总领馆向大波士顿地区及麻州侨胞和美国朋友致以美好的新年祝愿。章启月介绍了2015年中国各项事业发展及中美关系发展情况。她说，习近平主席今年9月成功对美进行国事访问，将中美关系提升到新的水平，双方在多个领域达成50项重要成果，特别是在人文领域推出“百万强”计划等新举措，将2016年定为中美旅游年。大波士顿地区是美国“东部硅谷”，教育、科技、金融和生物医药领域创新能力突出。中国经济进入新常态、“十三五”规划坚持实施创新驱动发展战略为与大波士顿地区的合作提供了良机。章启月寄语美东各界，要抓住中国发展新机遇，实现优势互补、合作共赢、共同发展。展望2016年，相信在大家的共同努力下，中美关系必定取得长足发展，两国人民友谊不断加深。

麻州州长代表、主管经济发展的助理州务卿范文南（Nam Pham）在致辞中转达了贝克州长的贺词并表示，2015年是美中关系发展顺利的一年,麻州对华合作成果丰硕。州长高度重视与中国的关系，欢迎未来更多中国游客、学生和企业来麻州，感谢他们为促进当地经济发展带来的新机遇。

波士顿市长沃尔什的办公室主任高丹尼（DANIEL KOH）感谢中国总领馆对波士顿地区的重视，表示要继续做好与中国有关地区的交流，促进美中关系多领域和全方位地良好发展。

美国中国总商会会长、中国银行美国地区行长徐辰在会上致辞，介绍中国企业在美发展情况。

招待会现场气氛热烈隆重。来宾饶有兴致地观看了《时尚中国》摄影展和《今日中国》短片。各界友人对中国的快速发展表示钦佩，侨胞们更是为祖国日新月异的进步感到无比自豪。招待会上，华人艺术家和小朋友为大家献上了富有中国民族特色的舞蹈与古筝表演，优雅娴熟的茶艺表演引得嘉宾驻足欣赏、品茗，精彩互动不断将活动推向高潮......

夜色中的波士顿美丽迷人，古老的港湾码头恬静安详。冬雪将至，天气已有些寒冷，但总领馆带来的中国佳音，以及中美人民之间的深情厚谊，汇成汩汩暖流，温润着每一个人的心田。活动最后，新朋老友依依不舍，互致祝福！

「2016年僑商財務管理研習班」開始報名

研習目的：

為提升僑營企業經營能力及協助僑商掌握全球經營環境變遷與強化財務管理專業技能，並促進與國內業者之商機交流。

研習時間：2016年3月21日至4月1日(週日不上課)

報名截止日期：2016年1月30日

主辦單位：僑務委員會

承辦單位：中國生產力中心（新北市汐止區新台五路一段79號）

報到及研習地點：中國生產力中心臺北承德教育訓練中心(臺北市大同區承德路二段81號)

研習對象：

20歲（含）以上65歲（含）以下，通曉中文，有意提升僑營事業績效及自身專業能力之僑商，並以任商會幹部或近兩年未曾參加本會相關經貿研習班者為原則。

研習課程內容及時數：

實際研習日程計11天，研習總時數合計至少70小時，包括財務報表分析、資產及風險管理、實例案例探討，並安排參訪觀摩國內相關企業。

費用負擔方式：

1.本會負擔研習期間午餐（不含週日）、課程教材、師資及場地等學雜費用。

2.學員自行負擔自僑居地往返之交通費、研習期間之膳宿及書籍等個人費用；如需宿安排，可洽由承辦單位中國生產力中心協助代訂住宿。

AG’S OFFICE ISSUES ADDITIONAL REPORTS ON STEWARD HEALTH CARE SYSTEM UNDER FIVE-YEAR MONITORING AGREEMENT

BOSTON – Attorney General Maura Healey today released the second set of the office’s reportsevaluating Steward Health Care System following its acquisition of Caritas Christi Health Care and subsequent hospitals.

In connection with its approval of Steward’s acquisition of non-profit Caritas Christi Health Care in November 2010, the Attorney General’s Office executed an agreement with Steward to monitor its impact on the Massachusetts health care market and to enforce specific provisions of the purchase agreement related to the public interest. Subsequent agreements were executed following Steward’s acquisition of Morton Hospital and Quincy Medical Center.

Today, the AG’s Office released the second set of two reports concerning its five-year monitoring of Steward, including a Compliance Report reviewing Steward’s compliance with public interest provisions in all three transactions and a Performance and Impact Report reviewing Steward’s impact on the delivery of health care services in the communities it serves. The first set of reports was released in January 2013.

The reports released today are available on the AG’s website.

This comprehensive review was conducted by a team from AG Healey’s Health Care Division and Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division that includes Legal Analyst Robert Ciccia and Assistant Attorneys General Karen Tseng, Courtney Aladro, Nora Mann, and Brett Blank.

麻州首名華裔女市長黃素芬年底卸任

麻州首名，也是目前唯一的華裔女市長，費奇堡（Fitchburg）市長黃素芬（Lisa Wong）年底卸任，發函揮別同仁，。

黃素芬為支持夫婿蘇圖（Soto）競選聖約克（Holyoke）市長，遷居該市，今年放棄競選連任。她的卸任，意味著麻州政壇又少一名華裔。

Thank you for a fantastic 8 years! I have enjoyed serving our city alongside you and wish you the very best in 2016 and beyond. Please know that your hard work has made the city a much better place. I am so proud to have been a part of this team. As I only have a few more days in office I know that is not enough time to say good-bye to everyone and to tell you how much I appreciate all that you have done. I have faith that the next administration under Stephen DiNatale will be fair and hard-working, and I look forward to seeing and hearing about the many things you will accomplish together.
