麻州旅遊局撥款200萬元資助59機構講美國250週年故事

         （Boston Orange 編譯） 麻州政府宣佈，麻州旅遊局（MOTT）為慶祝麻州250週年，鼓勵州內各機構舉辦活動的補助計劃，第2輪已挑選59個組織，共發給200萬元。

            MOTT的第1輪撥款，已於2024年9月完成，波發了150萬元給37個機構。

申請到補助的活動項目，十分多元，包括沉浸式歷史導覽、展覽、社區節慶和教育計畫等。其中許多活動特別著重於講述在麻州革命歷史中，原住民社群、黑人和拉丁裔居民、LGBTQ+個人以及女性的被忽略故事。

麻州州長奚莉（Maura Healey）表示，這些撥款旨在資助講述麻州從革命根源到今天充滿活力、包容的州的故事，並藉由講述長期以來被忽略的故事，強化地方經濟，一起慶祝麻州的價值觀和未來。

麻州經濟發展廳臨時廳長Ashley Stolba表示，這些撥款有助於刺激地方經濟成長，支持社區活動，讓代表性不足群體的故事，得到講述機會，為全州的小企業注入活力並創造新的經濟機會。

在這次獲得資助的59個項目中，有10個位於門戶城市。

波士頓市新批准21張酒牌。225張新酒牌已共發58張

        （Boston Orange 編譯）波士頓市府7月1日宣佈，執照委員會上週新批准 21 張酒牌，已分給市內8個鄰里內的餐廳，市府也已將相關文件送交州政府的「酒及飲料管制委員會（ABCC）」做最後審核，之後將持續滾動式的受理酒牌申請。

麻州政府是在2024年9月11日時，批准波士頓市政府可發放225張新酒牌，其中195 張酒牌有郵遞區號限制，必須在3年之內，陸續發給設在Charlestown、Dorchester、East Boston、Hyde Park、Jamaica Plain、Mattapan、Roslindale、Roxbury、South End 和 West Roxbury等9個鄰里內的餐廳。

15 張社區空間專用全酒牌，也是發給非營利組織、小型劇院，公園廣場等戶外空間，供舉辦活動時使用，可售賣各種酒類的年度酒牌。

12 張可轉讓的全酒牌。

3 張給布萊頓（Brighton）內橡木廣場（ Oak Square） 專用的全酒牌。

截至2025年6月底止，波士頓市政府共辦理2次受理酒牌申請，第一次批准了37張酒牌，第2次在今年5月23日截止申請，新批准21張酒牌，總共已發出58張。

這次發的21張酒牌，全有郵遞區號限制，分別發給Brighton、Dorchester、Hyde Park、Jamaica Plain、Roslindale、Roxbury、South End 和 West Roxbury等8個鄰里內的餐廳。

波士頓市長吳弭（Michelle Wu ）強調，這些酒牌是「加強地方經濟、支持小企業並確保鄰里社區成為居民、家庭和遊客充滿活力中心」的關鍵。

波士頓牌照委員會主席 Kathleen Joyce 表示，該會在審查未來的申請時，將持續考量社區需求、市場實際情況、商業計畫的實力以及促進經濟增長的能力。

這次發放的酒牌，全有郵遞區號限制，獲得酒牌的21個商家，分別為：

南端（South End ，02118)有3家獲得全酒牌，Mesob Restaurant ，Capri，Wash El Beverages。

洛士百利（Roxbury ，02119)有2家獲得全酒牌，Weston Way，District 7 Café。

多徹斯特（Dorchester，02121)有Cool Shade Jamaican Restaurant獲得全酒牌 。

多徹斯特（Dorchester，02122)有3家獲得酒牌，分別是獲得全酒牌的Blasi’s Kitchen & Bar，Milkweed，以及獲得啤酒和葡萄酒牌的Pizza 24。

多徹斯特（Dorchester， 02124)有2家獲得全酒牌，Molinari’s，Doune & Pepe。

多徹斯特（Dorchester，02125)有Chilacates Cantina獲得全酒牌。

牙買加平原（Jamaica Plain，02130)有3家獲得全酒牌，AAA Restaurant，Miami Restaurant，Mr. Drinky。

羅森岱爾（Roslindale，02131)有3家獲得全酒牌，Knoll Street Tavern，Sweeties，Green T Coffee Shop。

西洛士百利（West Roxbury，02132)有Somtum Modern Thai Cuisine獲得啤酒和葡萄酒牌，

布萊頓(Brighton)橡木廣場（Oak Square，02135)有Mo’s Tavern & Kitchen獲得全酒牌，

海德公園（Hyde Park， 02136）有Boston Pickle Club獲得啤酒和葡萄酒牌。

Inaugural year of 'Ideas in Action,' featured thousands of participants and funded six innovative projects

BOSTON - Tuesday July 1, 2025 - Mayor Michelle Wu today announced the City's Participatory Budgeting initiative, 'Ideas in Action,' is returning for a second year following a successful inaugural year of the program, which featured thousands of residents attending workshops, submitting ideas, and voting to fund six innovative projects now moving into implementation. Participatory Budgeting is open to all Boston residents, giving them the opportunity to decide how to spend $2.2 million of the City’s budget through submitting ideas, drafting ballot proposals, and then voting for their favorite projects. Residents can share their ideas between July 1 and July 31 by visiting boston.com/participate. "Ideas in Action' brings communities and city government together to foster a collective vision for Boston," said Mayor Michelle Wu. "In the first year residents decided to fund many great ideas -- ranging from making fresh foods more accessible, to advancing programs to support our youth, and we can't wait to hear their ideas for Cycle 2."   The Office of Participatory Budgeting will again partner with trusted community-based organizations across the city to hold 'Ideas in Action' workshops this summer. After collecting project ideas from residents, both in person and online, the City will organize community forums in the fall where residents will assist in developing proposals for a ballot. Those proposals will then be available for voting in January of 2026. All ideas submitted also help inform future City budget investments. "Participation in this program has spanned all neighborhoods and engaged new generations of residents, creating a fresh culture of civic engagement," said Renato Castelo, Director of the Office of Participatory Budgeting. "We are proud that more than 1,200 ideas were submitted in the first cycle and nearly 4,500 residents voted to fund winning projects. Healey州長指參議會盲目忠誠於川普。民生恐更艱難

             (Boston Orange 綜合編譯) 美國參議院今（7 月1）日剛以51比50票通過川普總統的「又大又美(Big, Beautiful Bill)」法案，決定增加3.3兆美元國債。麻州州長奚莉（Maura Healey）立即發表聲明，指共和黨籍國會議員對川普盲目忠誠，將逼使成千上的麻州居民失去醫療健保。

            根據無黨派的國會預算辦公室（CBO）分析，這法案一旦落實成法，將使1180萬美國人到2034年時失去醫療保險，美國國債也將在未來10 年內增加近3.3兆美元。

這法案包含了4.5萬億美元減稅，同時也包括經由施加工作要求、收緊資格標準以及改變對州的聯邦報銷方式，來實現刪減醫療補助（Medicaid）和食品券（food stamps）、醫療補助（Medicaid）和食品券（food stamps）等項目1.2萬億美元。

這也意味著麻州可能會面臨數億美元的聯邦資金削減，特別是在醫療保健和社會服務方面。

奚莉州長表示，他希望麻州人民知道，州長和民選官員關心人們，希望人們享有醫療保健，能源賬單更低，買得起房子，餐桌上的食物都很健康，更擁有最好的教育和交通系統。

Governor Healey: Trump’s Bill Will Increase Costs, Take Away Health Care and Food 

BOSTON – Governor Maura Healey issued the following statement today in response to the United States Senate passing Donald Trump’s budget bill: 

“Congressional Republicans put their blind loyalty to Donald Trump over their constituents. They were elected to lower costs and strengthen our economy — but this bill does the opposite. It will take away health care for hundreds of thousands of Massachusetts residents and threatens closures of rural hospitals, nursing homes and community health centers. It will increase health care and energy costs for every person and business. And it will take away food from millions of families, children, veterans, seniors and people with disabilities.  

“Senate Republicans just voted to add $3.3 billion to the national debt. 

“I want the people of Massachusetts to know that your Governor and your elected officials care about you. We want you to have health care, we want you to have lower energy bills, we want you to be able to afford a home, we want you to have healthy food on the table, we want you to have the very best education and transportation systems possible. That’s what the budget I’m currently reviewing will do. That’s what we are working to do here in Massachusetts every day.”
