MBTA深夜班車即起只在週五，週六開行

地鐵（MBTA）的深夜班車將從六月廿七日起，只在每週五，週六開行深夜班車。最晚一班車將於凌晨兩點從城中區出發。

            MBTA表示，四月份時，該機構已宣佈將調整服務時間，經仔細觀察服務狀況一年後，MBTA將繼續深夜班車服務，但只在需求量最大的兩晚發車。

週五及週六晚的凌晨兩點，也將是接駁巴士發車的最晚時間。

15, 22, 71, 73, 77等五條較少人搭的巴士路線，將停止開行深夜班車。其他路線的巴士及火車班次，也都將縮減。

MBTA將繼續檢視深夜服務，以期在顧及開支及效率的同時，盡量滿足乘客需求。

MBTA表示，在仔細審視今年二，三月，不下1700人參加的公聽會結果後，他們做出前述服務變動決定。

Changes to MBTA Late Night Service Take Effect This Weekend

BOSTON- Friday, June 26, 2015 -   As first announced in April, changes are coming to MBTA Late Night Service.  After closely monitoring ridership levels for the year-long Late Night Service pilot program, the MBTA is implementing a schedule that continues to offer service when demand is greatest.

The following Late Night Service changes take effect on Saturday night/Sunday morning, June 27/28:

• Last subway trains will depart downtown stations at approximately 2:00AM on Friday and Saturday nights; this is also the latest time to make connections between subway lines.
• The five least productive Late Night bus routes will be eliminated: 15, 22, 71, 73, 77.
• Frequency on all other bus routes and rail lines will be reduced.

The MBTA will continue to review and modify Late Night Service to meet customer needs in a cost effective way while considering future alternative service delivery options. 

The Late Night Service changes were made following a comprehensive review and public comment process in February and March of this year involving nearly 1,700 participants.

BOSTON – Governor Charlie Baker issued the following statement on today’s Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges:

“For me, the issue of marriage equality is personal. I’m pleased the Commonwealth has already recognized same-sex marriages in our state, and with today’s Supreme Court decision every American citizen across the nation will have equal protection under the law and the right to marry the person they choose.”

“The Metropolitan Area Planning Council applauds yesterday’s United States Supreme Court decision the case of Texas v. Inclusive Communities. This important decision allows people to sue against public or private actions that have a discriminatory effect, without having to prove intent. It means that America will continue to pursue fairness in the distribution of housing throughout the nation.”

“Here in the Boston region, we have begun to overcome a long history of discrimination in the housing market. This decision means we can continue to make progress in creating a region that is welcoming to all people.”

第29屆中華民族舞蹈展 6/27 演出兩場

紐英崙中華藝術協會主辦的第二十九屆中華民族舞蹈展將於今年六月二十七日（星期六）假波士頓大學蔡氏演藝中心1:30PM與7:30PM盛大舉行兩場公演。由藝協舞團執行藝術總監陳玉律、藝術總監陳嘉琪、馬嘉老師、余丹燁老師與張喬老師合力製作，帶領全體傳統中國舞蹈團團員演出。另外再加上藝協今年四月四日舉辦第七屆中華民族舞蹈比賽各組第一名的精彩演出，節目豐富且多彩多姿，支支風格各異，定能讓滿場觀眾大飽眼福。

麻州國慶音樂會 今年不准民眾飛無人機

麻州州長查理貝克（Charlie Baker）和波士頓4製作公司、警消人員昨（廿五）日在蜆殼劇場（Hatch Shell）前宣佈，今年的國慶音樂會及煙火安排，提醒民眾，不准無人機（drone）升空。

            再過九天就是七月四日，美國國慶日了。大波士頓在蜆殼劇場的慶祝音樂會，今年跨入第42屆，仍將由波士頓4製作公司承辦，CBS的波士頓分台WBZ-TV轉播，波士頓流行交響樂團（Boston POP）演奏。

            麻州州長查理貝克與環保能源長畢頓（Matthew Beaton），麻州州警Tim Alben， 波士頓緊急救護（EMS）長James Hooley，波士頓4製作的Steve McDonald，以及波士頓交響樂團的藝術總監Dennis Alves等人昨日連袂宣布相關訊息。

            查理貝克指出，夏天的來臨讓人幾乎忘了去冬才發生過積雪逾百呎的天氣。七月四日音樂會已是大波士頓傳統，他希望大家都能遵守相關安全規定，以期每個人都可享受美好時光。

            畢頓指出，波士頓早從1929年就開始以音樂會慶祝國慶日，1941年起轉往蜆殼劇場辦音樂會，也成為全美矚目的慶祝活動。他指出蜆殼劇場前的草地重新鋪過，一片綠油油。環保部門將在七月三日彩排，七月四日正式演出時，派一百多名工作人員，維護活動場地的環境，安全。

            麻州警察表示，相關安全規定和往年類似，從七月三日彩排起，蜆殼劇場一帶開始封路，人們進入蜆殼劇場草坪也得經過安全檢查，最好別攜帶大型背包，不准飲酒。相關細節可以上網查看。今年的新規定是不准使用無人駕駛飛機，民眾可隨時用推特報告情況。

            今年是波士頓流行交響譽團指揮駱哈德（Keith Lockhart）指揮國慶音樂會的第20週年。該團將演奏柴可夫斯基的“1812序曲“等傳統國慶日曲目，並增加互動環節，在整個演奏過程中，將有兩個時段容許民眾以推特投票，表決他們喜愛的曲目。

            今年將在蜆殼劇場音樂會中演唱的人包括Michael Cavanaugh，在第六季美國偶像選拔中成為家喻戶曉名人的 Melinda Doolittle，打入“聲音（The Voice）” 決賽的 Michelle Brooks-Thompson，今年慶祝75週年的波士頓救世軍（Boston Crusaders），“美國有才（America’s Got Talent）”的入圍者，賽倫迪普得兒子（Sons of Serendip），以及USO 秀團等。

塔芙茨大學孔子學院揭牌 新英格蘭孔院密集度最高

塔芙茨大學和北京師範大學合作的孔子學院，五月廿四日揭牌，麻州成為全美第二個有兩所孔子學院的州，美國新英格蘭也因此成為全世界孔子學院最密集地區，共有不下五所孔子學院。

            在麻州設有孔子學院的兩所學校是麻州大學波士頓分校（UMass Boston），以及塔芙茨（Tufts）大學，在羅德島州的有羅德島大學( URI)，布萊恩特大學(Bryant)，在新罕布夏州還有新罕布夏大學（UNH）。這幾所學校的中方合作大學依序為，中國人民大學，北京師範大學，浙江大學，中國地質大學，成都大學等。

            塔芙茨大學校長莫納哥（Anthony Monaco），資深副校長兼教務長哈里斯（David Harris），文理學院院長葛拉瑟（James Glaser）和北京師範大學校務委員會主席劉川生，中國駐紐約總領事館總領事章啟月，羅德島大學孔子學院院長何文潮等人為成立揭牌儀式致辭。

在塔芙茨大學已工作26年的中文項目負責人王命全，從2012年三月起推動塔大設立孔子學院。2014年4月莫納哥校長簽約，今年6月24日正式成立。王命全也獲任命為美方院長。中方院長部分，王命全表示因時值暑假，暫未確定。

塔芙茨大學是一所以“象“為吉祥物的私立大學，在福布斯雜誌的全美學校排名中，位列第25，以國際化及海外進修項目聞名。該校的弗萊契爾（Flecher）外交學院，也是知名的外交官搖籃。

該校在全世界有四個校區，其中一個在法國，另外三個在麻州的麥德福市，以及波士頓市的華埠等地。包括杭州及香港，共在十個地點設有海外進修項目。來自中國，註冊入讀該校的學生，共277人。

2011年才從英國牛津大學來塔芙茨大學當校長的莫納哥表示，該校重視跨領域合作，強調國際化，全球觀點，他有信心孔子學院將在該校的這些努力上，扮演重要角色。

北師大校委會主席劉川生透露，十年前她在華府時，曾經推動成立美國的第一所孔子學院，如今全世界已設有400多所孔子學院，其中107所在美國。北師大在全世界各地和八所大學合作辦有孔子學院，塔芙茨大學是北師大在美國的第四個孔子學院合作對象。由於塔芙茨大學本身重視語言學習和文化交流，是個重視以學生為中心，講究公民世界的知識性大學，早從1852年就已成立，她相信北師大和塔大將有獨一無二的合作經驗，能夠更加推動人才國際化。

中國駐紐約總領事章啟月以“強強聯手，強強合作”來形容北師大和塔大的合作，稱許塔大讓學生接受國際化薰陶，學習語言，掌握工具，打開許多機會大門。

塔大教務長哈里斯將擔任塔大孔子學院九人董事會主席。他表示，孔子學院將不只教授語言、文化，更將豐富該校的走入社區服務。

新英格蘭地區另外四所孔子學院負責人，當天都出席道賀。出席者包括羅德島大學孔子學院院長何文潮，布萊恩特大學孔子學院兼美中研究所學術項目副所長劉孔禮，謝昆，新罕布夏大學孔子學院美方院長王亦歌，麻州大學孔子學院院長孫柏鳳，付春梅等。
