The Attorney
General Maura Healey’s Energy and Environmental Bureau is hosting a
series of Listening Sessions across the Commonwealth. We hope that you and your
colleagues can join our Energy and Environmental Bureau as we partner with Alternatives
for Community & Environment (ACE) to host a Listening Session for the Greater
Boston Area on Monday, June 27th at
the Roxbury Community College Student Center Rm. 200 (1234
Columbus Ave Roxbury Crossing, MA 02120) from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
Each
Listening Session will begin with a brief overview of the work of the Energy
and Environment Bureau, but will be devoted to hearing directly from
residents about the range of issues that concern you—whether it’s drinking
water quality, childhood asthma in your community, lead paint, water pollution,
proposed energy projects, climate change, toxic chemicals in the environment,
energy costs, solar power, pollinator health, or another issue, we want to hear
your thoughts! Our hope is to gain greater insight into the ways that specific
environmental and energy issues affect communities across the Commonwealth by
hearing directly from those residents about their experiences and
concerns.
These
events are open to the public, and we hope you will join us.
Please
share the attached flyers with any of your contacts who may be interested and on social media.
