PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN ENDORSES DAN KOH
“Dan Koh is a tough fighter who stands up for ordinary people,” says President Biden.
Andover, MA – Today, President Joe Biden announced his endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. Dan served as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Cabinet Secretary at the White House, where he worked closely with the President’s Cabinet to implement legislation rebuilding America’s infrastructure, creating clean energy jobs, investing in education, and lowering prescription drug costs for seniors.
President Biden called Dan to endorse his campaign — watch a video of their conversation here.
“Dan Koh is a fighter who delivers for working people. I saw it firsthand in my Administration: when people needed help, Dan was there. He made sure they had what they needed — because he cares deeply about making government work for ordinary people. He is going to make one heck of a Congressman and I am proud to endorse him,” said President Biden.
Koh shared his deep gratitude for the endorsement, noting that President Biden's unwavering commitment to local leaders and ordinary people is the kind of leadership that inspired his campaign for Congress. Koh added that he is humbled by the President's trust and pledged to bring that same tireless dedication to the people of Massachusetts' Sixth District.
“President Biden's endorsement is an incredible honor, " Koh said. “He is a steadfast leader who delivers for our most vulnerable everyday — showing up, delivering, and never forgetting who government is supposed to serve. That kind of leadership is exactly what inspired me to run. Everything we fought for together — the progress we made for working families — is under attack right now by President Trump. I’m running to fight back and deliver. I am deeply grateful for his trust and his support in this race.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 60 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
