I want to offer my congratulations to Mayor Walsh on his nomination as Labor
Secretary for the Biden administration.
There is much work to do to clean up the backwards, anti-worker politics of
the Trump administration that have hurt so many here in our city, and Boston
needs a partner to fight for working families at the federal level.
Our
city demands a new generation of bold, urgent leadership to build a more
resilient Boston.
We launched this campaign months ago to reach out and connect with residents
across every neighborhood and community, and I’m energized by the voices and
stories of Bostonians envisioning a new future for our city.
I’m proud that our campaign is building the multigenerational and
multicultural coalition that can deliver that vision, driven by community and
powered by grassroots organizing.
