(Boston Orange 編譯) 川普總統在宣佈額外關稅時稱週三將是”解放日(Liberation Day)。麻州州長奚莉（Maura Healey）發出聲明，指川普總統當然不會讓人們從高成本解脫，反而會把稅賦家在美國家庭和企業身上，也意味著從住宅，到車輛、到雜貨，到能源，所有東西的成本都會更高。
奚莉州長表示，人們已經看到經濟上的負面影響，成長減緩，股市下跌，衰退的可能上升。川普總統應該把重心放在讓人們的生活變得更容易，更可負擔，而不是加稅，和鄰居對抗。

BOSTON – Governor Maura Healey issued the
following statement on President Trump’s pledge that Wednesday will be
“Liberation Day” as he announces additional tariffs.
“President Trump claims Wednesday will be ‘Liberation Day,’
but he certainly isn’t liberating us from high costs. Instead, he’s putting a
tax on American families and businesses, and it will mean higher costs on
everything from housing to cars to groceries to energy. We’re already seeing
the negative impacts on our economy – growth is slowing, the stock market is
tanking, and odds of a recession are rising. President Trump should be focused
on making life easier and more affordable for people, not increasing taxes and
picking fights with our allies.”
