新英格蘭玉山科技協會將舉行「從基因體學到生醫產業機會」年會

麻州劍橋市, 2015年六月九日, 新英格蘭玉山科技協會將於2015年六月二十日假微軟技術中心 (Microsoft Technology Center, 255 Main Street, Cambridge, MA 02142) 舉行2015年會暨 the US-Taiwan Business Club Meeting，主題是「從基因體學到生醫產業機會」。本次年會邀請到多位傑出講者，並與 the US-Taiwan Business Club 及波士頓台灣人生物科技協會共同舉辦此次活動。

新英格蘭玉山科技協會將由近年來生物科技的進展，從不同面向探討基因體學跟生醫產業機會的交會點。近來新進診斷工具及治療策略的蓬勃發展已大幅開展了醫療相關市場。目前已邀請到的講者包括：中研院副院長及基因體中心特聘研究員陳建仁博士；比翼資本創始合夥人何淑圭副董事長；生命科學國度顧問公司 Michael Quigley研究主任；台灣生技整合育成中心醫務長陳恆德博士； Momenta 製藥公司首席科學家及新英格蘭玉山科技協會會長曾宓博士。

Cambridge, MA, June 9, 2015 – Monte Jade New England Science and Technology Association will present its 2015 Annual Conference & the US-Taiwan Business Club Meeting: From Genomics Data to Business Opportunities, at the Microsoft Technology Center (255 Main Street, Cambridge, MA 02142) on June 20, 2015. The Annual Conference will feature a series of distinguished speakers and is co-sponsored by the US-Taiwan Business Club and the Boston Taiwanese Biotechnology Association.

Monte Jade New England is proud to present about the intersection of genomics and business because of scientific advancements achieved in recent years. New diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies for their applications have opened up the market for disease therapeutics. The current speaker lineup consists of Chien-Jen Chen, PhD, Vice President of Academia Sinica and Distinguished Research Fellow at Genomic Research Center; Olivia Ho Cheng, Founding Partner, BE Healthcare Fund; Michael Quigley, Director of Research at Life Science Nation; Herng-Der Chern, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer of Supra Integration and Incubation Center; and Jamie Tsung, PhD, Principal Scientist of Momenta Pharmaceuticals and President of Monte Jade New England.
