Please note: all BPL locations will be closed on Sunday, July 3, and Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

The Roxbury Branch will be closed July 18 - July 25 for a minor facility upgrade.

Boston Residents: Do you need help getting online? Request FREE High Speed Internet & a Chromebook Laptop through the Boston Public Library's Long Term Lending Program! If you have no home Internet service — or the service you have is too slow for online learning — you may be able to access free high-speed home internet through June 2023 from the Boston Public Library. Those who qualify may also receive a new Google Chromebook laptop! Find out more & apply at www.bpl.org/long-term-lending.

Art & Architecture Tours Return The BPL is resuming a limited schedule of free public Art & Architecture tours of our landmark Central Library in Copley Square. No registration is required for these in person tours. Tours are one hour in length and will be held on: Fridays at 11:00 am Saturdays at 11:00 am Learn more on our Art and Architecture page and at bpl.org
