Reflections from Harvard: A Conversation with China Vanke Chairman Wang Shi

Mr. Wang Shi is the Founder and Chairman of China Vanke, the largest real estate company in China and the largest real estate developer in the world. He also serves as Executive Director for The One Foundation, Honorary Chairman for China Entrepreneurs Forum, and as an Independent Director for the World Wildlife Fund, Sohu.com, China Resources Land, and Modern Media Holding.
Wang Shi has been named by Fortune Magazine as one of
"Fifteen Business Leaders Who've Changed China."
Mr. Wang Shi is an avid mountain climber and has scaled the Seven Summits. He has climbed Mount Everest twice, at the age of 53 and at the age of 60, both times breaking the Chinese record for the oldest person to reach the summit.
For the past 2 years, Mr. Wang Shi has served as a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard Fairbanks Center. As Mr. Wang completes his journey at Harvard, he would like to offer his reflections and share his experiences.
